Helping Hands for the Holidays Returns November 23 with The Spirit of Whoville
Published on August 18, 2026
There’s something special about the holidays in Southwest Florida. It’s a season for gathering, celebrating and, most importantly, giving back.
On Monday, November 23, 2026, the Aubuchon Team of Companies invites the community to come together once again for the 28th Annual Helping Hands for the Holidays, an evening dedicated to turning holiday cheer into meaningful support for local children and families.
And this year, we’re making the celebration a little more whimsical.
Welcome to The Spirit of Whoville
For our 28th year, Helping Hands for the Holidays will be transformed by The Spirit of Whoville, bringing a playful twist to a tradition that has always been about having a big heart.
Guests can expect whimsical holiday décor, festive food and drinks, live entertainment, a silent auction, visits with Santa and plenty of surprises inspired by the wonderfully imaginative world of Whoville.
But beneath all the fun is a message that feels especially fitting for Helping Hands: the holidays become more meaningful when we open our hearts to others.
No Ticket Required. Just Bring Your Holiday Spirit.
One of the traditions we’re proudest to continue is that there is no charge to attend Helping Hands for the Holidays.
Thanks to the generosity of our event sponsors and community partners, we can welcome our friends, neighbors, clients and colleagues to celebrate with us. Then, if the spirit of giving moves you during the evening, your generosity can be directed toward the charitable organizations at the heart of Helping Hands.
Guests will have opportunities throughout the evening to donate, participate in the silent auction and help us make an even greater impact.
Three Organizations. One Community. A Lot of Heart.
100% of event proceeds will benefit three organizations doing extraordinary work in Southwest Florida:
Make-A-Wish Southern Florida helps create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses, giving families moments of hope, strength and joy.
Ronald McDonald House Charities Southwest Florida provides essential services and support for families with children receiving medical care, helping them stay close when it matters most.
Lee BIA Builders Care brings together the building industry to provide emergency construction services for elderly and disabled homeowners in need throughout Lee County.
Each organization serves our community in a different way, but they share something important: the ability to change lives through compassion and action.
Last Year, You Helped Us Raise $75,000
Helping Hands has grown over nearly three decades because Southwest Florida continues to show up.
In 2025, the generosity of our sponsors, donors, partners, volunteers and attendees helped us raise an incredible $75,000.
Those dollars represent much more than a fundraising total. They represent wishes granted, families supported, homes repaired and people in our own community reminded that they are not alone.
This year, we hope to make our collective heart, and our impact, grow even bigger.
