As a FULL-TIME Custom Home Specialist, you will be responsible for initiating and following up with custom home prospects by phone, text, e-mail and in person. You will engage with potential clients at the Aubuchon Homes corporate office and at community events, including some nights and weekends, building new relationships and opportunities. Aubuchon Homes provides strong training and leadership for this position. The ideal professional candidate is career-minded, possesses strong communication skills, is comfortable with technology, is organized, and team-focused. Prior sales experience is a plus. Custom Home Specialist responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Serve as the initial point of contact for all potential clients interested in our custom homes.
- Engage with potential clients and represent Aubuchon Homes at office and community events, including some evening and/or weekend work.
- Conduct regular follow-up with all prospective clients and update Team on progress weekly.
- Assist in design discussions, presentations, and tours of homes under construction, to demonstrate the value of our process and the quality of our homes as a result.
- Collaborate with our in-house architectural design and construction team to guarantee client needs are being met, from the initial design through the completion of their custom home.
- Continuous knowledge and skill development, to provide up-to-date information on home design, construction considerations, and real estate market trends.
- Possess a winning personality, positive attitude and be a team player.
- Strong self-starter, relationship builder, with the ability to lead.
- Ability and willingness to receive constructive feedback and direction.
- Excellent relationship-based communication skills and ability to listen, process and respond promptly and professionally.
- “Quick-study” with comfortability using technology regularly in day-to-day responsibilities.
- Successful experience with database development and management.
- Ability to comfortably discuss and present high-quality design and construction services to custom luxury home prospects.
- Recent and successful experience in non-tangible sales is a plus.
