Steve was born and raised in Rochester, New York home to Kodak, Xerox, and Bausch & Lomb’s world headquarters. After graduating, Steve worked for his father’s homebuilding and remodeling business, learning everything there is to know in this industry. He then moved to Cape Coral in 1995 to trade the average snowfall of 100” a year, for the 350 days of sunshine a year! Steve’s excellent craftsmanship led him to become part owner of Schmitt Framing, exclusively building houses for Aubuchon Homes for more than a decade.
With more than 35 years of experience and a long-established work relationship with Aubuchon Homes, it was only natural for Aubuchon Homes and Steve to join forces again in 2014. Steve’s positive attitude and excellent craftsmanship in all aspects of the building industry are what make him an invaluable asset to the Aubuchon Team of Companies.
On a personal note, Steve has been married for more than 33 years to his beautiful wife Pamela, and they are proud parents of two talented young men. Steve has spent over 10 years coaching youth football and has now swapped the training field for enjoying live music, playing guitar, and drums. In addition, Steve loves to ride his Harley and is a huge Miami Dolphins fan.
