The West Indies Elevation is based on a Caribbean-style plantation home with an island feel. It features a white flat tile roof with a modified pitch, wood look garage and entry doors, and provincial blue plantation shutters.

The Spanish colonial style home is similar to those found in the historic areas of Fort Myers on McGregor Blvd. It features a barrel tile roof and a smooth stucco finish, spiral pre-cast entry columns, and French doors with shutters at the entry as well as the den with access to the terra cotta tiled front porch. The master bath and side of the garage feature windows with striped awnings above. The garage is split into three separate arch top doors and features a parapet roof and wood look doors.

First we sat with the Architectural Designer and several other Team Members and told them what our vision was. They then went to work and designed exactly that. They customized every detail of the floor plan and even suggested some things we hadn’t thought of. We also met with the pool designers to customize the pool to the lot, and also had a customized dock drawn up.

Probably the most important thing to note is for the actual building process, we did this long distance which could have been a nightmare, but it was not. The entire Aubuchon Team kept us completely informed and in “the loop”.We did make one trip down before the building started. We spent 5 days with the Aubuchon Design Center team. We selected every last detail about our home. They were knowledgeable and extremely patient and helped us throughout the entire building process. They had everyone come to us so it could all be done in one place, closet designers, landscape designers, low voltage, etc. They also handled requests/changes we made during the process with ease.

We also sat with the Evalutions team and they worked with our floor plan and assisted us with space planning – a huge help! We also used their services for completely customized window treatments to go with our furniture and colors. The house looks amazing!

The Construction Supervisor was awesome. He sent us pictures throughout the entire build process, and also a schedule of when things were happening so we could follow along. When we were in the area he walked the house with us and went over everything to make sure things were done to our complete satisfaction.

We certainly can’t forget to mention that our New Home Sales Representative stayed in constant contact with us from the very beginning to the end, and also sent pictures throughout the entire time. He was there every step of the way – for every question, concern, etc.

Once we moved in we continued to have Aubuchon’s support for the punch list and some other things that popped up. They truly don’t stop once you walk in the door. Aubuchon made it clear to us that they are here for us now and into the future. They truly care and made our vision into reality. We are still pinching ourselves because we are living in OUR dream home… Even better than we imagined!
